Reduced Effect Pool

To improve RNG, the following effects were requested for removal by the community.

They will no longer be available on new rolls.

Ventus is furious.

He has been attempting to upgrade his personal rig to mine WindCoin and recoup his financial losses, but he has run into a massive supply chain issue.

The price of RAM and Graphics Processing Units has skyrocketed by 4000% overnight.

The culprit?

A sudden, inexplicable surge in AI image generation.

The Expectant Trend

According to Ventus's angry rants,
the global supply of computing power is currently being monopolized by a group of "artistically curious" adventurers.

They are collectively using every available GPU in Elrios to generate millions of high-definition images of NPCs in...
heavily pregnant states.

Ventus does not understand the appeal, nor does he want to.

He simply knows that this "expanded lore" trend is eating up all the memory, and he needs components to build his mining rig before the crypto bubble bursts again.

Hardware Scavenging and Cooling

Since he cannot buy parts from the store without selling his soul,
Ventus is demanding that adventurers strip the hardware from their enemies.

The Nasods and other mechanical foes are walking goldmines of silicon.

He is offering a bounty for retrieved from the field.

The local server farms are running so hot from the rendering load that they have dumped boiling,
discarded hardware into the local rivers to prevent a meltdown.

Ventus realized that simply fishing with a hook isn't enough to catch these heavy components.
